JS is a middlesex media project.
why middlesex? simply because it is what you wish it to be. a freelancer packed with web know-how, a writer dealing with topics such as web 2.0, art and design, a programmer scripting your interactive flash tools or simply a brain full of fresh ideas. simsalabim.
 
 
[current activity] it's a boy a web-based time tracking tool called mite! in 2006, sebastian and i started developing this tool for freelancers and small teams who have to be productive. since then more than 18.000 users checked it out and proved that's it's one of the simplest and most intuitive tools out there to get your things done without a hassle. thanx to all of you for your great feedback and support - we're looking forward to improve mite during the next few years.
 
 
[current activity] popnutten :: le blog plus cool is a weblog dealing with popular culture. at the very moment, we're four people writing there: oliver and dennis are chatting about music, sebastian is into design and web issues, and my part is mainly about eyecandies and net art. enjoy!
 
 
[2007] sebastian and i joined forces writing our thesis to finally get the dipl-ing.! the thesis was published in the end of 2007: a beautiful hardcover titled 'agile produktentwicklung im web 2.0'. it deals with the development of webbased software by a small team. you can get the book here. wanna have a look first? the original thesis was released under a creative commons license. check it out!
 
 
[2006-2008] i got the chance to blog on a professional level, yeah! the teams are great and, to be honest, it's a whole lotta fun. click your way through to ea play, the official german blog of video game publisher electronic arts, to read about video culture and web art. 01blog.de is the official blog of the cebit 2008, the world's largest computer expo. it deals not only with tec and gadget stuff but also with art evolving around new technologies.
 
 
[2005-2006] freelancing for the argonauten360° (zürich/geneva) i did some programming for them, mostly flash/AS. my work included jobs for international customers such as: lucky strike, pringles, procter & gamble, mr. proper and grey.
 
 
[2006] a superb team made it possible: the conception and production of the music clip for the new single of the ohrbooten (berlin) "und tschüss!". carsten handled the camera, sabine did a wonderful job cutting the clip and i made my debut directing and postproducing the video. thx to jkp, katja fleischmann and all the other people involved in this project, it was not only a challenging but gorgeous time as well.

[2005] an auditory flash remake of the classic 'PONG' - created at a university seminar dealing with the subject "crossing borders". what i did: concept & programming.
the game was featured on d-frag.de, a german webblog focusing on gaming culture, as well as on audiogames.net, a site dedicated to audio and blind-accessible games.
 
 
[2005] rock'n'roll: i did the artwork for the new booklet of the shirley beans (berlin).
